The Entrepreneurs Law was approved on September 28, 2013 and consists of a series of incentives for digital nomads and freelancers to change their tax residence in Spain.
Among the main measures are:
- Flat rate of 50€ for self-employed during the first six months if you are over 30 years old.
- VAT with cash criterion that avoids you having to advance VAT on invoices that you have not collected.
- You will be considered an “Entrepreneur with Limited Liability“, which will prevent you from having to respond with your usual residence (provided it is not affected to the activity and does not exceed 300,000 euros) to the debts incurred in your professional or business activity.
- Foreigners wishing to start an activity in Spain that meets certain criteria may apply for an entrepreneur visa.
